World Bird Wednesday

Here it is Wednesday again, and look what showed up at my yard today. I put up a coon guard around the Bluebird house, and I'm so hoping they will stay.

This last shot might show the male calling for his honey.

Well, today was "C" day. Chick day. So far all I've seen is one chick, and Mom is really being very protective. There are 5 more eggs yet to hatch, and I will wait till Friday to see if any more will appear.
Here is the little one peeking from under Mom's feathers. This Bluebird showed up on Tuesday, and began checking out the nest boxes.
Lets hope he stays.
See if you can see this Whirligig Beetle. You can also see his shadow and the rings in the water from his movement.
This is a Sucker fish. They are bottom feeders, and can be very difficult to catch sometimes.
I still like looking at spent Dandelions.
This is the pink Japanese Honeysuckle.

Talk about camouflage, can you find this Sandpiper?
