Macro Monday

Well, you can tell Spring is here. The raccoons are back, and once again raiding my bird feeders. I found this footprint yesterday morning on the step to our deck. It was very frosty out, and that left a cool imprint.

I set a trap last night, but when I got up at 3AM to check on it, the big mama coon was sitting right in the middle of the feeder helping herself to all the seed. The trap hadn't been sprung. They are so clever. If I catch her, and I will, we'll take her for a long ride out to the deep woods someplace. There was a skunk under the feeders too, but he was lucky this time. I'll catch him eventually. From now on, I'll be bringing all my hanging feeders inside at night.
