| It's time for sky pictures, and we have had so many of these big cumulus clouds lately during all the hot temperatures we've been experiencing. Most of the time they have produced no rain. | Earlier this week before it got so hot, we took a walk on this trail that goes around this nearby reservoir. It's a wonderful walk, although we didn't go very far and I was hoping to get pictures of some dragonflies, but the ditch that goes along part of the trail was nearly dried up, and I only saw one dragonfly. | Last Tuesday evening we had all these heavy clouds before the sky cleared, and the temps dropped well below freezing. |

| I took this shot last week on a day when we had some sun, but not much warmth. There were some pretty cool clouds too. We've had more sun than usual this winter, and it is SO welcome. | Last Saturday morning at sunrise the sky looking Northeast. Within a 10 minute time period it was so gorgeous, but this led to later clouding and followed with 3 days of cold rain. |

| Toward the beginning of this week, early one morning there was this strange cloud formation in the Northern sky. The sun was shining from the East on the trees, and this was followed about a half hour later by heavy rains, lighting and thunder. Happy Skywatch. | After several days of rain, we were rewarded with these dancing clouds one evening. Today it was dark, cold, and misting and very windy nearly all day. Gone are the beautiful sunny days of late summer. Now we look forward to our first snowfall, and then for a brief period of Indian Summer when the beautiful summer will return for a couple days. | All day today these clouds were building, and sometimes getting quite dark, and it was very windy. There were warnings about rip currents and possible water spouts on Lake Erie, but I don't believe any spouts formed. I have been waiting to photograph some for a long while, but you have to be there at the right time. |
