Skywatch Friday

This was the sky a few days ago in the late afternoon. With all the crazy weather we've had, one never knows what to expect from day to day.

It really was a pretty day with temps in the 50's, but later in the evening rain moved in, and now we have 8" of snow on the ground and a temp of 10 deg.

More snow coming for tonight, and at least the ski slopes are happy.

Friday is about to roll around again, and it's time for sky shots.
I thought these were dancing clouds. It has been a beautiful day, and the prediction for tomorrow is 90 deg.

Skywatch Friday

It has been so gloomy here for the past week, and really no good sky shots anywhere, so I thought I'd look back through my files and found this cloud shot I took last year when a cold front blew off Lake Erie. It looks like the Swiss Alps ? ?

SkyWatch Friday

This picture was taken about 4 years ago. One summer we had many of this type of Cumulus cloud formation, and plenty of thunder storms following. I see a dog face in this one.
