| Our son brought us a trailer load of firewood, and this afternoon we unloaded it all, and I saw some interesting fungus on some of the logs. They don't need any explanation, so enjoy. Please forgive me for not visiting my favorite blogs. With the baseball season winding down and the Yankees going to the playoffs, we're watching every game with baited breath! LOL |

they're so interesting and beautiful - the fungi and lichen, not the yankees. ha! :)
Seems fungi is growing everywhere you look in this neck of the woods. Waaaaaaay tooooo much rain this month. Its the wetest Sept. ever recorded in the state of PA!
What a great profusion of fungi, are any of them edible?
Great to see this time of year.
Lovely images.
These are as pretty as any flowers. Some of them are so fancy.
