World Bird Wednesday

Well, over the past few weeks, the Robins have all gone, the House wrens, the Baltimore Orioles and also the Rose-breasted Grosbeaks have left. But the little Goldfinches are still here and performing for us while searching for the sunflower seeds.
They are very acrobatic too and I'll miss their gorgeous color, although they will hang around all winter.

Becky, great captures of these cute circus performers. That first shot had me wondering how he would eat the seed hanging up-side-down.
A great sequence and they match the sunflowers so well too.

Hope you are having a good week.

Yes I saw goldfinches and cardinals here but don't know if they migrate down south on fall and winter. ^_^

It seems we have our eye on the same prize this week! Goldfinches it is! Sterling shots of one of our constant winter companions!
Cheers!
