It's a good thing we took a ride in the past couple of days to see the Fall leaves, because today it began raining, and winds are picking up, so before long all the beauty will be gone for this year.
These are some of the pumpkins our granddaughters grew from seed this Spring. They have given some away, and will sell some.
Last Sunday afternoon we passed this Amish house where they were holding church. This is only a few of the many buggies we saw, but it's difficult to get good shots when your driving.
Some that were by the road.
A closer look at one of the fancier ones. Some even have mechanical brakes.

What a great crop of pumpkins. You must be so proud of your granddaughter. Glad to know that the rescue chickens are doing so well.
I'm off to Melbourne to-morrow to be with my sister. Will be back next week.
The Amish, for all their humility, sure take pride in those buggys,by the looks of it.These people remind me of some of the older Mennonites in my area. They are so proud of their humility. :)
yay for the chickens!!!
I hear you on the rainy days! So happy we had three beautiful days before the gloomy days set in again! I am afraid its going to ruin our leaves, they are starting to really turn colors. They may just drop off the trees before they turn. The weather has been so up n down!!!
