We sell eggs and the other day after a short rain shower, I noticed this reflection of our egg sign in a puddle in the driveway.

We stopped by the lake earlier this week for lunch, and I took some in flight shots of the seagulls. Not until I uploaded my pictures did I notice the reflection in the water.

This property is not far from us, and I think it is a camp, and there is a little log cabin in the woods on the banks of this pond, and it's a perfect getaway. Very quiet with lots of pine trees, and plenty of local wildlife.

It's time for reflections again, and this week we took a ride to the peninsula at Lake Erie and I stopped once more to take some shots of all the turtles on this log. The log is chained to something heavy to keep it in place, and makes a super sunning spot.

For the weekend reflection this week, driving past an Amish farm, I saw this reflection of the barn and silo in a farm pond.
I hope everyone is having a great weekend, and I hope the weather is being kind  to you also. We got over an inch of rain yesterday, and although it wasn't enough it did help, and we escaped all the devastating effects of that storm that roared through here late in the afternoon.
If you remember back in March we got 16 day old baby chicks, and I have kept you sort of up to date on their progress. As of next Monday they will be 18 weeks, and have begun to lay eggs. We are excited, and I'll have pictures on Sunday, so do come back..

Driving to Lake Erie I saw these Canada geese resting along the shore. It looks like a few Mallard ducks are resting as well. Happy weekend to everyone. We got some rain! Yes only 1/2" but anything is welcome, and a couple days of cooler weather too.

On a recent trip to my hometown of Warren, Pennsylvania, I was shooting images of an old iron railroad bridge, and also noticed this cool reflection of the trees and clouds in the Allegheny river.

Stopping by my favorite Amish greenhouse yesterday, you will notice this scene as soon as you leave the main dirt road. These folks also have a gorgeous log home surrounded by many baskets and huge containers of flowers everywhere. This sail boat is anchored and provided a good reflection.

Last week taking a ride to the Peninsula on Lake Erie, this big log always has plenty of turtles to photograph. They now have put in a really nice platform near these turtles too so folks can take pictures all they want.

On a partly overcast day, my youngest granddaughter Jalyn, tried her hand at fishing. This is the creek behind our home, and this on day the water level is probably too low for any good fishing because she didn't have any luck, but at least it gave me some reflections.

Looking at our front window I see the big maple tree reflecting. This tree is a Norway maple, and sheds it's branches all the time. Good thing because we use them for kindling in the wood stove. .

This pond is a favorite of mine during the summer to find lots of turtles sunning themselves near the shore. I can take pictures from the van too so they aren't frightened.

This could be the strangest reflection I've taken so far. Going out to the garage the other morning I noticed these rainbow colors reflecting on the side of the van from the sun shining through the garage window. Not till I uploaded the photo did I see all the other reflections. A shovel, a bike, the garage door and window, and an empty John Deere box.

Weekend Reflections

Well, here it is the weekend again, and we continue to have this crazy weather. One minute it's clear, sunny and 55 deg. In the next 12 hours more snow, high winds, and 27 deg. Then again this whole winter has been less than a winter at all. Then I'm not complaining. The poor Robins are very confused..
