On our trip recently we passed through the little Pennsylvania town of Punxsutawney. This town is known for it's famous groundhog Punxsutawney Phil. The little critter that is teased out of his burrow very early in the morning every February 2nd, to predict whether we will have 6 more weeks of winter, or if winter will end early depending if he sees his shadow or not.. No matter it always lasts 6 weeks more or less. Many states have their own weather predicting animal too.
In Punxsutawney there are many many statues of Phil dressed up like different businesses, and placed on various street corners..

Love this guy. Who wouldn't want to go inside and see what the fuss is all about? Happy Ruby Tuesday.
That is cute!
The Groundhog Day movie was on last week. We watch it over and over.
I hope you got pics of all that you saw.
Welcome home Becky. So nice that you stopped in at Punxutawney on your way, we all loved the film.
We've been home now for three+ weeks and would have gone on a jaunt this week except that my cough is so debilitating that I have no energy for anything. We just have to take it as the cooky crumbles . . . hang in there girl!
