Let it snow ETC, ETC.

Here he is, the Grim Reaper, Mr. Cooper's hawk. ! For the past few days this guy has been a regular most of the time, and making all the birds so nervous. Yesterday he did take a Blue Jay :~(
Yep, it's still snowing! This Hairy woodpecker was enjoying some suet when he spotted you know who. Frozen in place for the longest time, he refused to move even though his face was covered in snow. The Song sparrow even remained perfectly still while the snow pelted his face.

Getting through the drive through at McDonald's is fun with all this snow...

We went for groceries this morning, and these next few shots are from the ride home.

You have to admit, it's really pretty.

Enough for today. Everyone stay warm, and have a great rest of the week.

Looks like you are really getting the snow.

I was just out clearing the end of the driveway as the snow plow just went by. -9C. Mingus also got out on his last constitutional -- now we can cozy up for the night. We've had a bit of sun the last few days and not all that cold either.

Ah, the grim reaper is keeping the gang on their toes! O guess if it picks off a jay it has a pretty good meal!

That's a lot of snow, looks just like Norway :) Nice shots of the woodpecker and the hawk, you've got all these birds in your garden?

I hope you stocked up well else you may have to brave the drive though...LOL

Driving through the snow really is very pretty, especially if you know the road and can more or less see it.
The hawk too is a beautiful bird and needs to eat just not necessarily at your soup kitchen.
I guess the weather is pretty tough on all the outdoor critters.

Keep those feet warm and enjoy, . . perhaps a sip or two of egg nog by the fireside?

I guess by now...snow is a dirty word to you. It is pretty but what a pain it can be. Great bird shots.

The snow is pretty, but how much 'pretty' can one stand.:) That hawk needs to leave so your other birds can enjoy a peaceful meal.
