Sunny day for a change

Taking a tour around on Saturday will give you a small look at all the snow. This shot shows the snow piled up as high as the stop sign. In the distance the snow in the church parking lot is higher than the cars.

A back country road would make a dandy place for a horse and sleigh ride.

The sky was blue for us and the sun shone all day. It was so welcome and beautiful. I think one of the local meteorologists mentioned that we only are lucky enough to have 5 days of sun in the month December! :~(

This is a stream where I can photograph ducks in the summer. Now frozen and no sign of any wildlife.

No major storms predicted for the up coming week. Some light flurries. Of course this is snow country so you never know. Have a good one..

Now you really have snow! Our accumulations are minor in comparison.

Now thats a lot of snow. The part about no sun for long periods of time is what I hate about the winter. Most of the population North of Atlanta is vitimin D defficient. Its very depressing to spend long periods of time without our friend Mr. Sunshine.

Some more great pictures and so clear. That picture of blue sky showing would make a nice Christmas card. Have a great week.

So very beautiful with the blue sky and shadows. Snow covered landscapes are just so photogenic.

With the sort of snows that you get, you almost have to have an extra parking lot just to pile the snow in!
